McDonogh 35 High School attempts to inspire and foster intellectual development through a challenging, yet traditional, college preparatory curriculum integrated with small learning communities and technology.  Advanced Placement and Honors courses are offered in the various subject matter areas.

The curriculum is designed to enable students to:

  • Develop the ability to think critically

  • Develop the ability to articulate clearly and effectively

  • Prepare for entrance to higher education

  • Prepare for professional and/or entrepreneurial life in society

  • Examine the relevance of their cultural heritage
